AMS UCC India #1 – Terms & Conditions
Event Name: AMS UCC India - 1 (UCC Class 2 Event)
Event Date: 26th February to 28th February 2026
Location: Bir Billing, Himachal Pradesh, India
1. Eligibility & Registration
- Participants must complete the official registration process and provide accurate personal
information.
- Racers below 18 years must submit a consent letter signed by a parent/guardian.
- Registration is considered confirmed only after full payment of the registration fee.
- The organiser reserves the right to reject any registration without providing a reason.
Race Categories:
- XCO Women & Men Elite (UCI)
- XCO Women & Men Junior (UCI)
- XCO Women & Men U-16 (CFI)
- XCO Men Master A & B (AMATEUR)
- DHI Men & Women Elite (UCI)
- XCE Men & Women Elite (UCI)
- XCC Men & Women Elite (UCI)
2. Race Kit & Identification
- All participants must collect their race Bib at the designated time and location.
- Rider bib numbers and timing chips must be worn visibly throughout the race.
- Loss or damage of bibs/chips may result in disqualification.
3. Rules & Conduct
- Racers must follow the route markings and event marshals’ instructions at all times.
- Any form of cheating (shortcuts, drafting behind vehicles, pushing, etc.) will result in
immediate disqualification.
- Respect fellow riders, spectators, staff, and the environment.
- Use of headphones or communication devices during the race is strictly prohibited. GoPro is
only allowed during training ride.
4. Equipment & Safety
- All racers must wear a certified helmet throughout the race.
- Bicycles must be in good working condition. A pre-race technical inspection may be required.
- Organisers are not responsible for mechanical failures during the race.
- Riders must carry basic repair tools and hydration.
5. Medical & Health
- Participants must ensure they are physically fit to compete.
- The organiser reserves the right to stop any rider on medical safety grounds.
- Emergency medical support will be available, but the organiser is not responsible for
pre-existing medical conditions.
6. Liability & Insurance
- Riders participate at their own risk.
- The organiser is not responsible for injuries, loss, damage, or death occurring before,
during, or after the event.
- Racers are encouraged to have personal insurance.
7. Environmental Responsibility
- Strictly no littering on the race route. Dispose waste only at designated points.
- Any violation may result in time penalties or disqualification.
8. Cancellation & Withdrawal
- Registration fees are non-refundable, except under specific conditions described in the
Refund Policy.
- Race withdrawal must be submitted formally through the official withdrawal form (Refer to
Refund Request Form).
- The organiser may postpone or cancel the event due to weather, safety issues, or government
regulations without refund.
9. Prizes & Results
- Race timings will be based on official timing systems.
- Any protests regarding race results must be submitted within 30 minutes of result
announcement.
- The decision of the jury/organiser is final and binding.
10. Media & Photography
- Participants are required to get permission to use race photos, videos, and recorded content
for promotional purposes.
- Organisers own full rights to event media.
11. Agreement
By registering for this event, participants acknowledge they have read, understood, and agree to
comply with these Terms & Conditions.
